Kat has been in the pet care industry since 2015. After managing a small pet resort in Pennsylvania, she relocated to Florida to begin her career with Pet Paradise in 2018 before landing here in Charlotte. Kat has managed 4 locations with Pet Paradise and loves the bonds she builds with all the pets and their owners. Last year, Kat received her dog training certification from Top Tier K9 and has enjoyed the rewarding process of helping the pups in our program learn and progress. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 2 rescue Pit Bulls and her Boston Terrier mix, Piggy, Lulu and Teddy. Kat is very excited about this opportunity to work with a variety of new clients and their beloved pets! 

Cassie Thomson started her journey at Pet Paradise in 2016. She has been in the customer service industry for about 9 years, but it wasn't until she started working with Pet Paradise that she found her real passion for animals. Her favorite thing about the job is forming a personal bond with each of the dogs and the clients. When she's not at work, she enjoys adventuring and relaxing with her friends and her dog, Harley.

Kayleigh joined the Pet Paradise family in 2014, working as a resort associate before working her way up to Front of House Manager. Kayleigh has over 10+ years in customer service and has a passion for animals which led her to where she is today! She loves the bonds she creates with all of the guests and clients. In her free time, she spends her days exploring new places with her pup Nova and spending time with her family & friends.

Holley joined the Pet Paradise family in 2014. Took on a leadership role  as back of house Supervisor in 2015. Where her hard work and dedication to the staff and pups has made her a valued member to our Charlotte team. In 2022, is now an Assistant Manager. Holley is proud to be part of a management team that truly cares about every detail. From customer service to pet care and our wonderful staff. When not working: she enjoys family time, old movies, thrifting and all things vintage, with lots of cuddles from her crew in-between.

Super excited to start my journey with Pet paradise! After being in the customer service/sales industry for 10 years I was blessed with this opportunity to begin a career here! The majority of my free time is spent with my 2 Labradors; Buck and Rubble, and the rest with friends and family!

Darian joined the Pet Paradise team in May of 2023 as a FOH associate. He has always had a passion and love for animals and immediately felt at home with the Charlotte Airport team. When he isn't at work loving on all the pups he enjoys going on adventures and playing with his own dog Luna.

Alexis joined Pet Paradise in January 2022 as a resort associate at the Mooresville location. She immediately knew that this was the job for her, as she quickly fell in love with meeting new pups each day! 

Alexis soon became a Communications Associate where she thrived to make all first comers (owners and pets) experience the best it can be. Moving up into the Supervisor position, she went in with a passion of building strong relationships with all clients! 

Now that she is an Assistant Manger, she is extremely excited and eager to continue the growth of these relationships with the community of Hilton Head Island and the surrounding areas! Alexis has two dogs of her own, Dixie (Lab Mix) and Maggie (Shepherd Mix). 

She treats each dog like they are her own and she can’t wait to meet all of the pups that come her way! 

I’ve been with pet paradise for 7 years. In 2020 I received my certifications for Dog Obedience and Behavior, Animal Diet and Nutrition and Pet Massage. I’ve put those skills to use outside of the resort until we finally launched the program! I was very eager and excited to further my education in the dog training world. Speaking “dog” has been a given gift since I was a little lady, I would do my own research and stack all the dog books I could find in the library. I’ve also learned from my own family pets growing up where lines are drawn. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than getting that “wow, you can understand me?” look from a troubled dog that’s experienced so much overwhelming stimulation in such a short time span and it all just come together because they know they can trust me and they’re safe. Ram Dass once said “we’re all just walking each-other home”. Once that bond and trust has been established -WIN- now let’s see what we can do together my friend, let’s walk each-other to success.

Hello! My name is Jenifer, and I have been with Pet Paradise since June 2022. I love training because it is so rewarding to watch a dog learn new commands and I get to see the progress from the first day until their go home day. I have the opportunity to make a difference in the parents' and dogs' lives. I'm apart of helping them understand and to be able to communicate better with each other and build a long-lasting bond. Seeing and hearing the parents' exciting reactions when they see their dog(s) making progress each session makes me happy and I am helping save dogs from going to shelters for not having proper training.
