Dr. Heather J Linen, DVM, joined Pet Paradise as the Regional Veterinary Director of the Carolinas.  She earned her doctoral degree from Cornell University in 2004 and has over 15 years experience in both private and not-for-profit practices in Central Florida and Northern Virginia.  Her special interests include preventative medicine, dentistry, and behavior.  She is excited for the opportunity that Pet Paradise affords to combine veterinary medical care with the physical and mental stimulation the resorts provide to address the comprehensive health of her patients. 

In her spare time, Dr. Linen enjoys playing piano, reading, spending time with her husband outdoors, and cheering on her son’s Little League team.  They currently have one sweet, and goofy, rescue dog named Kodi.

Caroline Laughlin started her career working with animals as a dog walker at just 15 years old. She immediately fell in love with every aspect of the industry and quickly learned it all - Boarding, Day Care, and Grooming. Although this was her first job she knew right away this was her passion and she would never leave the animal industry. She started with Pet Paradise in 2016 as an Assistant Manager of the Charlotte Airport location. She enjoys not only working directly with the animals but building relationships with their families as well. Client satisfaction and having owners feel comfortable leaving their fur babies in her care is one of her priorities. When Caroline is not working she enjoys spoiling her Boston Terrier, Willie!
