Sorry pet lovers, the theme parks don’t allow you to bring your lovable dogs and cats with you unless they are needed service animals. Yes, Best Friends Pet Care is located on Disney property, but a new option for doggy day care and overnight boarding recently opened in the middle of Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Orlando.
Located in the new O-Town West development on Palm Parkway (near White Castle), Pet Paradise offers overnight boarding, resort-style day camp, grooming, and veterinary care under one roof.
The new Pet Paradise features kennel suites with an outdoor bone-shaped swimming pool, splash pads, a large shaded play yard with misting stations, synthetic grass play and relief areas, and indoor play spaces, as well as a Tiny Town area for dogs under 30 pounds. The resort’s boarding space includes air-conditioned suites for dogs and cat condos. As an added comfort for pet parents, report cards and live webcams are available to check-in throughout the day. (This location is not currently staffed overnight, but should be in the future.)
