I’m a retired veterinary technician with over seventeen years’ experience. As a vet tech I became interested in animal behavior and pursued a master’s degree in Companion Animal Behavior Analysis and Counseling. I am a certified pet dog trainer and operated my own pet sitting and dog training company for about ten years. I also worked as the manager of a different local boarding facility for three years. I love watching the interactions of pets and their people, celebrating the human-pet bond. I enjoy educating clients and staff members about pet behavior and why our pets do some of the things they do. I enjoy temperament testing new dogs and it fills my heart with joy when I watch a group of dogs playing well together. I like spending my spare time with family as well as my 3 dogs and 8 cats.

Safeya has been with the Pet Paradise family since December of 2019. She is originally from the Houston Hobby Resort where she began as an overnight resort associate and eventually worked her way up to Assistant Manager, and then relocated to San Antonio. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three fur-babies, Saki, Cujo, and Niko. Her favorite part about Pet Paradise is being able to care for the customers' fur-babies like they are her own. Safeya is very excited to be a part of the Stone Oak family and looks forward to meeting the pet parents and their fur-babies!
